LETTER OF FR. ALAIN BOUCHARD OF MADAGASCAR

Dear brothers, dear friend-es-eras, the Lord give you peace.

We are already given at the time favorable for a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR. A new time for the love of God gives us to begin to develop a little more, during this new year. This is the wish for each of you.
is true to say I went to the birch and activities abound. To review the accounts after four months, and to restart. To resume the function of guardian of dealing with all but see as necessary.

I just returned from a trip two days in the bush to AMPASIPOTSY our new fraternity, 200 km. A good road because it did not rain. If not, they sleep on in the car. There are small villages every 8 to 10 km away, at number 10 to 15 houses each.

was last Sunday Feast of Christ the King and occupation of two African sisters Clare. Newly installed last year. It was really a great celebration, 4 hours for the ceremony presided by the bishop, with priests around, eleven for the celebration. Ten hours and thirty to four o'clock in the afternoon with a meal. Fortunately, as there was threat of rain ended the meal quickly. And all returned, if the rain could not move because of a small bridge with a descent and an ascent impossible. After 5 minutes of rain, it stops moving, a red dirt road that resembles soap if it is wet. Fortunately everything went well. Only 5 km in the rain with lots of holes but not mounted. It's 21:30 as we enter the home.

The party is over and we resumed normal life. The rain let it happen as desired that all the 8 to 10 days, a good storm and it ended with a hot sun and dry. What makes it difficult for rice cultivation. It is hoped it will be more frequent in December. Ready
us in peace and joy of Christmas for many to receive the Savior of the world especially in these difficult times.
Let this time that a renewal of life and union with God for a better world.
Union prayers and Happy New Year to all.

Your brother Alain Bouchard ofm.
